Honestly, I know it sounds weird, but watch the movie Shaun of the Dead. I've heard it helps so many people get over a broken heart. Plus it'll make you laugh.

I'm working on my own broken heart too... I keep my tv on comedy central. I love to laugh and joke and well right now its not coming to easily. Try funny movies and shows. I cant guarantee it will work but its helping me!

Maybe you should watch a comedy. Laughing will certainly make you feel better. Try anything with Will Ferrell, like Talladega Nights.There’s also all the Tarantino movies, that are not about love and relationships. So try Kill Bill, Pulp Fiction… They are GREAT! I don’t know if it will help mend your broken heart, but at least you will thinking about something else for 2 hours.

You should avoid love stories, especially those with a happy ending…

Edit: I just thought of Little Miss Sunshine, one of the funniest movies I have ever seen. And as you want comedies, you can also try Wedding Crashers…

I'd go with some fun comedies. The 40-Year Old Virgin is one of my favorites, so is Old School. An oldie but goodie is Adventures in Babysitting. That movie will have you feeling better in no time!
