Keeping my life simple and unpretentious has been my mantra all my life, a deep devotion to the Mother Earth and all living creatures, leads me to a calm sense of self and allows me to tolerate my friend Scratchy's bad behavior. My love of the arts, classical music and the great outdoors gives me the passion to pursue what I love, recycling old stuff and playing 'chase the stick'. The arts for repurposing the many great finds out there needing a makeover, the music to inspire my fingers to do the work and the great outdoors to provide me the backdrop to the daily life I pursue AND all of the sticks. The antique shops are the stage to introduce each new piece to the public and fulfill my need to move furniture around, to my Fathers' dismay, as I was always doing it at home as a kid (he still has the scars on his knees to prove it). The making of the soaps and candles is an extension of simple indulgences we woman allow ourselves in our busy lives and is a natural for me to include in the shops. Always a hopeless romantic in search of her bliss...
